Tropicuba Cafe, located at the intersection of Central Ave and Irving Park Rd, needed to breathe new life into its outdoor signage. Years of sun exposure had faded the original storefront display, meaning material and ink selections had to prioritize long-term durability alongside crisp aesthetics.

The project delivered four 22×34 in. panels, installed directly over the originals for a clean, cost-effective refresh.

Also for Tropicuba Cafe, this project centered on creating a custom product label for one of Cuban cuisine's most iconic desserts: flan. The design draws inspiration from vintage Cuban packaging, a visual language that feels deeply authentic to the culture while remaining perfect for a welcoming neighborhood spot.

After an earlier round of revisions, three refined variations were presented for the client to choose from. The final piece: a 2×2 in. circular sticker, small in size but rich in detail.

Tropicuba Café, needed a dynamic digital billboard to showcase alternating daily specials. The display was designed to cycle fluidly between featured entrées and complementary side dishes, keeping the lunch-hour crowd informed and moving efficiently. Through careful iteration, the final animated layout optimizes readability on a digital screen while matching the cafe's established visual identity.

Club de Nutrición Amigos Saludables, a drinks and nutrition shop at the corner of Fullerton and Pulaski, wanted to grow their local presence. After a conversation with the owner about their goals and clientele, a flyer campaign was the clear fit.

Multiple directions were explored before narrowing down to the strongest options. The final layout balances energy and approachability, designed to catch attention on the street and communicate the shop's community feel.
